Heelands School are delighted to inform you that we have registered for Pets As Therapy visits, which can help to give pupils opportunities to increase their confidence and sense of well-being. 

Your child will have access to sessions with the Pets As Therapy registered Dog, either Reading to it or taking it for a short walk off-site, under close supervision. These dogs are specially registered Dogs who normally visit in hospitals, hospices, care homes etc. They will remain on the lead and under control at all times.

This will be a special time for your child as they will have a chance to get to know the dog as the weeks progress.
